Our Story

At High Standard Photography, we are passionate, professional photographers based in Buffalo, NY and Williamsville, NY, proudly serving the entire Western New York (WNY) region and beyond. What started as a creative hobby has grown into a thriving photography business committed to delivering crisp, creative, and captivating visuals. After over five years of refining our craft, we took the leap to turn passion into profession—and we haven’t looked back since.

We specialize in providing high-quality photography services throughout Buffalo, Amherst, Cheektowaga, Williamsville, Lancaster, Niagara Falls, Rochester, and surrounding WNY cities.

High Standard Photography was built on a foundation of integrity, exceptional client service, and a relentless pursuit of quality. With over two years in business, we've learned more than just how to use a camera—we’ve learned how to tell powerful visual stories, how to connect with our clients, and how to push creative boundaries.

Our team is made up of two distinct creative forces:

Dante brings a scientific and technical edge to every project. His focus on lighting, composition, and framing results in photographs that are razor-sharp and strikingly clean—images so precise they feel like you're seeing the world through a human eye.

Ryan, on the other hand, thrives on artistic exploration. For him, each photo is a canvas—an opportunity to challenge convention, experiment with angles and contrast, and bring emotion and energy into every frame.

When our creative minds combine, the outcome is often beyond what either of us could ever imagine. We’ve discovered that our contrasting styles—technical precision and artistic boldness—don’t just complement each other; they elevate our work to the next level. When one of us is stuck, the other is often the key to unlocking something extraordinary.

 FAQs

  • All of our shoots come with edited photos. We do not allow clients to use filters over our photography work. For the sole fact that although you may like your personalized edit, it will not reflect our brands image accurately. We hope you understand.

  • All of our appointments are on a weather permitting basis. Meaning rescheduling may be required on days where the weather is not in our favor.

  • Yes, it is encouraged! We think bringing a prop or a signature item to your style will make these photos more original to you specifically than other models.

  • We tend to only use free work or discounted work on our Portfolio. If you insist on us using your photoshoot for our Portfolio and/or Social Media you will be granted a discount off your next shoot.

  • We will choose the best images from the shoot to edit. After we provide the edited photos, if you would like to see all of the remaining photos from the photoshoot, contact us and let us know we will send instructions on how to do so.

  • We should be able to determine before undergoing the editing process whether this shoot worked in our favor or not. To which we would ask for a reschedule date that works best for both of us to redo the photoshoot. However, if you don't like the photos after we have edited them the best thing for you to do is to contact us and express your honest feelings. We will not be offended what so ever, we understand everybody has an off day and hopefully you understand that as well. We pride ourselves in being able to deliver quality photos along with quality customer service.

  • Yes! We encourage this more times than not. We offer a free online consultation so you can chat with us at your leisure. We can also schedule a time to meet in our office (usually after 5 pm) to meet face to face and discuss plans and projects, this approach is usually for customers that are ready to book the shoot but just want to go over a few more details.

  • All of our photography packages come with optional retouching automatically included in the price of the shoot.

  • Yes! These are points to bring up during the pre photoshoot consultation to see if we are fit for the vision you have. We will not offer revisions after the photoshoot has occurred. Minor changes may be accepted post shoot at owners discretion.
